Support for Stability and Independence
Metro Housing Support assists individuals with disabilities in managing daily tasks and healthcare needs. Our services are tailored to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
We offer Housing Stabilization Services to help individuals:
Transition into stable housing
Maintain their current housing situation
Access local resources and support networks
These services are part of Minnesota’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) state plan (not waiver-based) and are designed for people with disabilities and seniors in need of housing support.

ARMHS Services
Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services
Metro Housing Support Inc. offers ARMHS to help adults (18+) living with mental health conditions develop skills for greater independence and stability in daily life.
Our services support you with:
Managing mental health symptoms
Improving communication and social skills
Navigating community resources
Building healthy routines and life skills
Support with housing, employment, and more
All services are person-centered and culturally responsive, tailored to your unique goals.

Housing Support (GRH)
Helping Individuals Maintain Safe & Stable Housing
Metro Housing Support Inc. offers Housing Support through the Group Residential Housing (GRH) program to eligible individuals who need assistance covering housing and basic living costs.
Our GRH services help individuals with:
Safe, stable housing
Support with daily living activities
Access to meals, case management, and healthcare coordination
This program is designed for adults with disabilities, mental health challenges, or other barriers to independent living.

Who Is Eligible?
- Eligible for Medical Assistance (MA) program
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a documented disability or disabling condition, which includes:
- Aged, blind, or a disability as described under Title II of the Social SecurityAct
- Individuals who Injury or illness that is expected to cause extended or long-termincapacitationeligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
- Developmental disability or related condition
- Mental illness
- Mental health condition, substance use disorder, or physical injury thatrequired a residential level of care and is now transitioning to thecommunity
- Learning disability as determined by the Department of Human Services(DHS)
- Substance use disorder and enrolled in a treatment program or on awaiting list for a treatment program
- Must require assistance with at least one of the following areas resulting fromthe disability or long-term condition:
- Communication
- Mobility
- Decision-making
- Managing challenging behaviors
- Must be experiencing housing instability, evidenced by one of the following riskfactors:
- Homeless
- Currently transitioning or has recently transitioned from an institution orlicensed or registered setting
- At risk of homelessness
- At risk of institutionalization
- Eligible for the following waivers:
- Brain Injury (BI)
- Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI)
- Community Alternative Care (CAC)
- Developmental Disability (DD)
- Elderly Waiver (EW)
